Health and safety is paramount
For us, health and safety is of primary importance at all events. We are part of your team, so if anything goes wrong, you could get it in the neck. To help ensure that this doesn’t happen we produce a number of documents to help our clients plan their events. These are available on request – simply complete the form below or call us.
This is a generic statement that outlines the required practices of the company employees while providing services contracted by the client. This includes truck movement, loading and unloading, equipment handling, case placement, power distribution, PAT tests, motor hoists, rigging (general), rigging (specific items of equipment) loudspeaker cable handling (dynamic and static loads), secondary safety rigging, test certificates, setting up loudspeaker arrays, ground cabling, installation, system testing, system operation, de-rigging after the event, leaving the venue, travelling.
This is an assessment of the risks to staff and guests posed by the presence of the company on the contracted site – before, during and after the event. It also serves to draw the client’s attention to aspects of their brief that may contravene health and safety standards. There is a generic risk assessment document, but sometimes an event-specific assessment is needed. This can be a lengthy process and will be undertaken for a pre-agreed fee.
